So, I was looking for a way that I could stream music while I was away from my own computer and I remembered this website!
My sister's old computer's hard drive died, so I took out the hard drive, downloaded Linux on a CD and now I'm running the shoutcast server off of it. That way I don't have to worry about always starting shoutcast and broadcasting from my computer.
Also, while I wasn't paying attention to this site, it gathered over 18,000 spam comments from bots. Something like 38mb worth of space it was taking up on the server, so I got rid of Wordpress (because it is terrible) and made my own blog type thing for the site.
So, yeah, the server should be up all the time now (unless there is a power outage), and with my easy to use player that I added last year, you should have no problem listening in if you want to!
Edit: I now have a captcha box for the comments, so unfortunately, you'll have to fill it out for every comment unless you have a registered account.

I fixed the layout so it works for Firefox and IE, I think IE might still have problems because it is a jerk >:(
Also when you click on the listen button now, it opens a new window where you can listen to the station instead of opening up some sort of media player.

We're Back (Again)

So I decided that since it is the summer, I would start this site back up again. I finally figured out how to broadcast with a program that won't freeze my computer or suck so that's pretty awesome. My internet does some weird things sometimes and disconnects every few seconds but hopefully that will be fixed soon.
Also, new layout incase you haven't noticed. Right now I only have it working with 1024x768 and in Firefox (I haven't even bothered to look in IE yet) but maybe I will get that working later.
EDIT: Works best in 1152x864 but also works in 1024x768 and in Firefox. I hate IE >:(

So a few people were asking for this back and I am putting it back up and I solved the problem I was having. I am thinking of using a different computer to shove shoutcast on, and perhaps be able to create some sort of system where you can upload music and listen to it I'M NOT SURE YET but when I know I will post about it.

In spirit of the holiday, I'm going to be playing Xmas music whenever I'm broadcasting most likely.

Check out the 'Request' and 'Queue' links in the sidebar!
I've added a requester where you request songs, queue will show you which songs are up to play.
It'll only work when I'm playing songs on random without paying attention (like when I'm not at the computer, for example).
Have fun with that.
EDIT: If you have Mozilla, chances are the CSS are messed up on the pages, so all the links at the end are messed up and on top of eachother. To enqueue a song, its the first link on the left. Just FYI.

Site has been redone, incase you didn't notice (you must be blind :( ).
It's also redone so that you can see the page even when no one is hosting!
